They won! Quite an exciting game! Because they won, they got a spot in the playoffs for the first time ever!!! Which by now you should know that they made it all the way to the World Series!! Go Rays!!

More highlights- Meranda's Birthday (Aug 5th)
This year for Meranda's birthday I had planned a little princess party for her. She was so excited! I invited a few of her little girlie girl friends (and mom's) over for lunch. Well- the day before I took both her and Christian to the doc and he confirmed that they both had pink eye! Wow how do you explain to her that she cant be around any of her friends on her birthday? Even tho she would start her antibiotics right away and by the time her party was supposed to start she was supposed to not be contagious, I just wasnt comfortable with it. So instead we made cupcakes......
And later on in the day, I took her to a nearby little farm to ride some horses.
I wanted to do something special for her on her birthday that she looked so forward to for so long. And by know I was more confident that they weren't contagious.
And after dinner we enjoyed our beautiful cupcakes...
We were able to have a real birthday party with friends that following weekend...
I'm pretty sure she enjoyed her birthday!!

I know its a shocker to finally see a little movement on my site but I made a commitment to myself to spend more time trying to figure out everything on Xanga and to try to keep in touch more with all the people in my life. If I keep up I'm sure I will soon make another commitment to NOT spend so much time on here, but oh well. My problem is that I don't have time, so I gotta squeeze more minutes out of my day I guess.
Back in July I started working full time as a secretary for a landscaping business. Its crazy and I'm not sure where God is taking me but I'm hoping its just for a "season". It works out great and its a blessing but it is really hard to manage everything. My routine everyday: I get up at 6am and get Juan's lunch ready, then I spend until about 7:30-8:00 doing my bookwork for our business, then I get the kids up, dressed and fed. By 8:40 we need to be out the door so that I can have Meranda to Preschool by 8:45 so that I can be at work by 9. (If I have 3 min to spare I like to stop get a tall caramel machiato at Starbucks) I'm at work until I have to pick up Meranda from school at 12. I then spend the rest of the afternoon at the office with my two children. I go home at 5 (usually ends up being 6 or so) and make dinner, do dishes, do laundry, give baths and go to bed usually sometime after 11 and get up the next morning and do it all over again! Its crazy and I'm not sure why God has me doing all this but I'm trying to hang in there and make it fun for everyone, but the social part is whats getting hard on me. I don't get to talk with my mom and my friends as much on the phone anymore. I'm just feeling way out of touch. So I guess thats why I feel the need to stay connected on xanga, so at least a few people know that I am still alive!
Just a few highlights of our lives in the last while:
We spent a day at Tropicana Field watching the Rays, it was great!! We all really enjoyed it!! We gotta go back b4 its over again for another season!
(I know he looks mad but I promise he's not. He really did have a good time!)
Well- I guess that was one highlight. I'll try to share more soon. For now I have got to get some sleep, its already 11:30. Adios for now!!

Hey everyone!! Well- I'm finally on Xanga! I have had a myspace for a while now and I realized most of the people that I know have Xanga instead, so I followed the crowd! So now I just gotta figure everything out. So anyway- I realize that most of you I dont see very often because I live 1100 miles away so here's a little update...Hopefully everyone knows that I'm married cause that was like 6 years ago. Well- I now have 2 children.
Meranda will be 4 in August.
Christian just turned 2 last sunday!!
We live in Sarasota. Juan and I own a lawn business. He does about 115 yards every week and he only has 1 guy helping him. I stay very busy with my normal duties as a wife and mother and I also do all of the secretary stuff for the business and I waitress part time at Sugar and Spice! That pretty much sums it all up. Well- I hope to hear from ya'll.

I should have someone else that knows me better fill this out but...anyways, I live in Sarasota, FL. I have been happily married since June 2002. I have 2 beautiful children and they are pretty much what I live for. I enjoy the great outdoors, being with friends, and traveling. My dream is to someday open a cafe, (with the economy the way it is...I put that dream on hold for a while!!) I like to be spontaneous and I thrive under pressure. I am always up for a good challenge!! I Love my Jesus and thrive to walk closer with Him everyday!
